About Roe
20-year Culinary Industry Professional. Specializing in Restaurant Operations Management, Marketing, Team Development, & Banquets

Hola!
Please allow me to finally introduce myself. My name is Ramon, but my friends and family call me Roe. I’m a first-generation Mexican-American, entrepreneur, and food enthusiast. I often joke about it, but I began my culinary career at the age of 5. I was director of peeling tomatillos at my mom and dad's taqueria in my hometown; Anaheim, CA. It was in that food pantry that I sat in every day after school that my passion for cooking and sharing it with those I love was conceived. Cooking as a kid, side-by-side, with my mom, has greatly influenced my love for cooking. Traveling with my husband (also a foodie) has exposed me to a whole new world of gastronomy, further influencing my work and passion.
I’m also what (in my world) they call a "mariachi brat". My dad is a classically trained violinist that made a living playing with world-renowned mariachi orchestras (he is also a talented violin maker). My childhood consisted of me tagging along with him from “chamba” to “chamba”. You ever seen a kid at a wedding that sat in the corner with the mariachi? … that was me. My dad's musical influence has and exposed me to many different cultures has had an impact on my artistic self-discovery.
Music and food: what a blessed combination. And so this, this is my journey of continued self-discovery of this very funny thing we call life. Buckle up, keep hands, arms, and all objects inside the tram as I invite you all on my culinary journey.
Please enjoy my page. This is my journey. Welcome.
Salud!
